Eric Richard's passion for music began in his youth. Library visits with his father, where they explored global sounds through vinyl rentals, fostered a lifelong love for diverse music that led him to a performing arts high school education and university opera training.
These experiences now culminate in the middle aged magic of The Six Foot Tide. Eric brings a rich soundtrack to the Lowcountry stage. Their music blends country, blues for a unique Coastal Americana sound, encompassing originals, carefully chosen covers, and lesser-known gems. The Six Foot Tide's focus? Bringing people together through the unifying power of music.
With three decades of professional music making informing his path, including a national tour with his band Rowdy, Billy Lockwood brings a world of experience to the stage. Billy is a virtuoso on the telecaster, a soulful writer, and the love he has for the world and for the human condition channels through his music.

Simon is a pianist by trade, a drummer by blood, and now a bass player by way of his lifelong passion for music. Inspired by a childhood listening to classic rock, blues, jazz, and everything in between. His affinity for writing and music playing has been a long time in the making.
Behind the kit for Six Foot Tide is a rhythmic force shaped by waves, wheels, and a lifetime of music. Gifted on the drums and rocking since the age of 11 years old, laying the groundwork for a style that effortlessly blends the raw edge of punk with the soul of the blues. A true board culture enthusiast, he spent over a decade in Memphis, TN running the Cordova Board Shop along with the Skatepark of Memphis and music venue—a local hub where skating and sound collided. Now living in Charleston, SC with his family, he brings his deep musical roots, passion for community, and powerful grooves to the heartbeat of Six Foot Tide, both on stage and in the studio.
